Students must converse only in English on the School Campus.
Students must be in school by 8.20 a.m. and attend the classes regularly and punctually. Attending the assembly is very important for students.
Late Coming will be entered in late Attendance Record, and must be signed by the Parents / Guardian with remarks before the students attendance the class next day. Late fee will be collected from late comers.
Students should refrain from wearing Gold Jewellery for safety sake; and no responsibility rests with the institution for loss or incidental matters arising out of it.
The Boys should come to school with proper hair cut, neatly groomed. Growing long hair or fancy cuts or Coloring and Bleaching of hair are not permitted.
Absence from school is not a healthy sign, if for casual reasons and must be checked by parents, and if for valid reasons must be supported by a leave letter from the parent or guardian of the student one day in advance or inform through phone 044-28549786.
Application for sick leave for more than 3 days should be supported by a registered Doctor’s Certificate and the leave letter must be signed by the parent or Guardian only.
Students should attend school on the re-opening day, after holidays and vacation.
The School uniform is compulsory on all working days and at school functions sports uniform must be worn on Wednesdays. Pupils must come to school neat and tidy.
Students should wear Clean and ironed uniform, and well polished shoes, socks and ribbons.
At the stroke of the bell, pupils are expected to go as quickly as possible to their classrooms or to the assembly as the case may be, in an orderly manner and in line with school diary.
Classrooms are meant for study. Pupils must not run about or play inside the school building. They should not spend the break time in the classroom.
Pupils are not allowed to leave their classrooms without the permission of the teacher or the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Headmaster/ Correspondent.
Pupils must stand up smartly and greet the teachers who enters the classroom (i.e. say, good morning / afternoon/ evening)
Pupils who come to the classroom when the teacher is in the room should wait outside until the teacher permits entry.
Irregular attendance, unruly behaviour on the campus, idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards member of the staff should be avoided.
Excursions and school outings are all part of school life and for all the students to enjoy unless exempted for reason of disability or unavoidable circumstances, satisfying the school authorities.
Fireworks or Crackers or Explosive materials of any kind must not be brought within the compound or used; Sprinkling coloured powder or water during the holi festival, or otherwise, on the school campus is prohibited.
Honesty is expected of every pupil. If a Pupil has something that does not belong to him/her, he/she should inform the Headmaster of the articles found and leave them in the school office. Pupils who have lost articles may make enquires about these in the office.
Pupils are themselves responsible for the safety of their own books, pens,watches,tiffin carriers or any other personal belongings which they bring to school.
Pupils are expected to take part in the games conducted during PT classes unless declared medically unfit or exempted by the Headmaster.
Cheating or Malpractice in Examinations or at any other time is an offence and will be dealt with severely. Teachers are to be very strict during invigilation
Reverence and Quietness are expected from all pupils at prayer time.
It is forbidden to write or Scribble or splash ink on the school/ church/compound walls or in anyway disfigure or damage school property.
Dining table must be left clean after the Mid-day meal and wrappers, leaves, plastic bags or cups used must be dropped in the bin specially kept for these.
Bringing cell phones / any electronic devices to school is banned. Cell phones brought to school by children will be confiscated. It will be return only on the last date of the school.
Fines Levied, of any magnitude whatsoever, depending on the seriousness of the case, is ONLY with a view to institute correction, in a student, Where necessary, and should be avoided at all costs , by expected good behaviour including punctuality, regularity, neatness, cleanliness, respect for public property, and other modes of conduct, that speaks well of a model student. It must be noted that payment of fines by students does not speak well even if it is affordable and this message would need to impress both student and parent, in the interest of inculcating lasting values for students development.
Normally, the following procedure will be followed in dealing with the matter of student indiscipline.
I Warning (Oral) From Headmaster/ correspondent to the student concerned.
II Warning (Oral) From Headmaster / Correspondent to the student in the presence of the parent or Guardian.
III Warning (Written) From the Headmaster/ correspondent to the parent or Guardian.
When there is no improvement in the situation (in the opinion of the Headmaster /
Correspondent) dismissal of the student from the school will follow, with appropriate endorsements made on the Transfer Certificate.
If it is found that students are habitual offenders and it is convinced that the student’s discipline is not acceptable and the student disregards the rules of the school, the T.C. shall be issued at any time of the year.
The School Reserves the right to issue the T.C to any student who grossly misbehaves in school or in uniform outside the school campus or disrespects Teachers and/ or the rules of the school. The T.C. will be issued at any point of time, irrespective of whether the students is facing a Government Exam or / spoil his/her career. Discipline shall be maintained at any cost.
Rules are meant to be respected, adhered to and followed strictly in the interest of much desired discipline and welfare of the students. Should any of the Rules be disregarded / disobeyed, a fine of Rs.500/- and or suspension will be awarded as punishment.
